Wendy Wilkins-Russell
Executive Director

Ms. Wilkins-Russell is responsible for short-term and long-term strategic planning, payer/vendor negotiations and relationships, payer contract compliance, practice support focusing on revenue cycle initiatives, and the daily operations of the organization. She has been in health care since 1990 and has served in executive leadership roles in both payer (government and commercial) and provider organizations since 1992. She previously managed Washington State’s Uniform Medical Plan where she built its statewide provider network, chaired the Washington State Reimbursement Steering Committee, and co-chaired the RBRVS Technical Advisory Committee. She has a strong background in revenue cycle management from her leadership experience in several hospital systems, including the University of Washington Medical Center. She is experienced in every type of inpatient and outpatient payment methodology, including risk-bearing capitation.

Cheri Haderlie
Administrative/Credentialing Support

Ms. Haderlie has been with WMI since its inception. Her long experience provides invaluable organizational continuity to our approach to management and credentialing issues. She assists the members with credentialing for both physicians and facilities and she manages the credentialing database and the provider set up within the payers’ systems, ensuring that claims are administered correctly. She also provides project support.
